The company's products are manufactured using proprietary and non-proprietary mixing, coating, and cross-linking technologies. It also focuses on developing proprietary products for wound care dressings, and a transdermal delivery technology platform to deliver drugs and other beneficial ingredients through the skin. In addition, the company develops HepaMate, an extracorporeal temporary liver support system designed to provide whole liver function to patients with acute or severe liver failure. Alliqua, Inc. is headquartered in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
