The company operates in Property and Casualty Insurance, and Annuity segments. The company sells its property and casualty insurance products through independent property and casualty insurance agents; and brokers, as well as employee agents. It also provides traditional fixed and fixed-indexed annuities to the individual, bank, and education markets, as well as engages in commercial real estate operations. American Financial Group, Inc. was founded in 1872 and is headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.
